ElimuBiso is a multi-lingual network dedicated to cultivating and amplifying Afrocentric education worldwide focusing on connecting and facilitating the vital work of Afrodescendant educators, parents, scholars, businesses, and institutions across the globe.
ElimuBiso, from “Elimu” (education in Swahili) and “Biso” (we/us in Lingala), means “Our Education” and embodies a collective reclaiming of knowledge. The choice of these two languages reflects a vision of Pan-Africanism that is both continental and global.

ElimuBiso is uniquely global, shifting the center of educational gravity away from any single region to unify the entire Afrodiasporan experience. We believe in radical accessibility, so our multi-lingual platform utilizes the four main colonially imposed languages (English, French, Spanish, and Portuguese). By strategically employing these languages, ElimuBiso reclaims the tools of historical subjugation to ensure that knowledge of identity, wealth, and sovereignty reaches the maximum number of Afrodescendants, dissolving linguistic barriers and fostering authentic global unity.
